The Kotaro Clan

Once nestled in the frigid slopes of Yanxia's mountain ranges, one Doman Clan stood the test of time against and oppressive Imperial regime. With the art of the shinobi passed down from generation to generation, the Kotaro Clan now serves Doma and her people, pledging their blades for the betterment of the spirits of the land and good of mankind.

Kotaro no Ryuki

The standing Clan patriarch. Despite obvious signs of aging, Ryuki needed not to prove himself when it comes to battles of wit and blade. A scarred infiltrator and terror in the darkness, it's little wonder how he's been able to uphold his reputation and servitude for Doma as long as he has.

Kotaro no Suki

The Clan heiress. Having received personal instruction on the way of the shinobi from her uncle, Ryuki, Suki was a swift and deadly force to be reckoned with. Those in her Eorzean circle would be quicker to describe the diminutive Au Ra as bubbly, playful and easily excitable. They would be correct! But an unexpected blade is an effective blade...

Spirituality

The Amatsukami

"All are one under the eyes of heaven, friend and foes alike. Nature is the painted canvas of the Kami."

All that is in the natural world. Fallen leaders, spirits of land, sea, and sky...or the sun and moon. Through proper devotion and respect for the land, the Kotaro Clan achieves greater wisdom and appreciation for their mortal existences.

The Tiger

"The courage to unsheath our blades. The power to overwhelm our enemies. The patience to outlast adversity until the crucial moment."

The symbol of courage, patience and raw power. A beast native to the Yanxian wildlife, the Kotaro Clan have adopted the tiger's symbology as their own, donning the face of the beast as their Clan kamon.
